When you purchase a new machine (or reinstall windows on an old one), your machine will probably not be ready for use. Our Computer Setup / System Preprep service fixes that.
If not installed already we will update your computer to the newest version of windows 10, then we will remove all the pointless applications you do not need, then we will install VLC, Google Chrome, Classic Media Player, and other useful programs.
We always remove trial software such as Norton or McAfee (we’ll install a free alternative). If we see applications that are commonly referred to as ‘crapware’ we’ll remove that too (e.g. some pointless manufacturer application wasting resources).
Whilst we can install all the basic applications to get you up and running and ready for the web, we can’t install paid for applications such as MS Office, Paid Anti-Virus, Autocad etc under GDPR rules you must complete this part yourself however we can offer advice related to this if you don’t have the confidence on your own.
